Is getting verified difficult?: Not at all. Simply upload your documents through our secure upload page and we will begin the verification process. If we need any further information we will email you to request it.
What documents do you need?: To verify your identity we need a copy of a government ID along with a selfie. For property ownership verification we need to check your land registry certificate and a utility bill.
Do you only check documents that I have uploaded?: No, we will also look at other aspects of your property such as map locations, reviews and listings on other websites, and reverse image searches. This helps build a clearer picture of your property status.
My property is held in a business name, can I still verify?: Yes, we would simply need to see the business incorporation documents proving your ownership alongside all the standard verification documents.
Will my uploaded documents be secure?: Yes, the upload process is fully encrypted and all uploaded files are stored on an encrypted and secure drive. Once we have verified your documents they will be securely deleted from our servers.
How long does verification take?: We aim to complete most verifications within a few days however in some cases it may take up to a week to complete.
Will guests see my documents?: No, we will never share your documents with guests, they will only be used for initial verification purposes and then deleted once checked.
How much does becoming a Verified Owner cost?: Other similar services like this available elsewhere which are priced between £200 - £450 a year however we are offering this free to all of our listing website customers!
